Process & quality
How TerminalPro Manages Process and Quality
TerminalPro helps fishing tackle brands, importers and wholesalers manage product details,
sample confirmation, packaging requirements, production follow-up, quality control and shipment preparation.
Our role is not only to quote products, but also to help buyers reduce avoidable mistakes before mass production.
What we help confirm
- Product reference, specification and application
- Sample or pre-production confirmation
- Packaging format, label and barcode details
- Production status and key quality checkpoints
- Final inspection and shipment preparation
Working approach
Three areas we focus on before and during production
Product Details
We review product type, size, weight, material, finish, color, hook or hardware matching,
packaging format and target application before quotation or production.
Production Route
We help identify whether the project is a standard product, a modified product, a private label item
or a new mold development project.
Quality Control
We check important details such as size, weight, color, finish, sharp edges, assembly, strength,
pack count, label accuracy and carton information.
Typical workflow
Typical project flow for fishing tackle orders
Different product categories may require different production routes, but most fishing tackle projects follow
a similar confirmation process before mass production and shipment.
Product Details Review
Buyer sends product photos, samples, drawings, size list, color list, packaging ideas or target quantity.
We review the product category and key requirements before quotation.
Sample or Reference Confirmation
For standard products, we confirm existing models or samples. For modified products, we confirm the
changed details. For new designs, we discuss mold route and sample expectations.
Packaging and Label Confirmation
Packaging format, pack count, barcode, logo position, warning text, country of origin and carton marks
should be confirmed before mass production.
Production Follow-up
During production, we follow up on material preparation, mold or tooling progress, product finish,
packaging preparation and key production timing.
Final QC and Shipment Preparation
Before shipment, we check product appearance, key specifications, packaging count, label information,
carton arrangement and shipping documents where needed.
QC focus
Quality control focus by product category
Each fishing tackle category has different inspection points. The table below shows common QC focus areas
that should be reviewed before shipment.
| Product category | QC focus | Common issue to avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Soft Baits | Shape, softness, color, smell, oil level, tail action, pack count and bag sealing. | Color drift, wrong softness, poor tail action, sticky surface or incorrect pack count. |
| Jig Heads & Sinkers | Weight, coating, hook position, eyelet, swivel insert, surface finish and pull strength. | Paint chipping, wrong weight, weak insert, blocked eyelet, burrs or rough finish. |
| Swivels & Snaps | Size consistency, rotation, tensile strength, snap closing, burrs, plating and pack count. | Weak snap, poor rotation, mixed sizes, rust, burrs or wrong label. |
| Fishing Hooks | Hook size, wire diameter, point sharpness, barb, eye closure, finish and rust marks. | Dull point, open eye, wrong size, rust, surface scratches or mixed hooks. |
| Hard Baits & Lures | Body shape, swimming action, paint finish, hook hardware, split rings and packaging. | Poor action, paint defects, loose eyes, weak hardware or damaged retail pack. |
| Packaging | Logo, label, barcode, pack count, warning text, bag sealing, blister card and carton marks. | Wrong barcode, missing label, poor sealing, wrong count or mixed SKU. |
Communication checklist
Clear information helps reduce quotation and production mistakes
The more clearly a buyer provides product and packaging information, the easier it is to confirm price,
sample route, production timing and QC requirements.
If you are not sure which details are important, you can send product photos or samples first. We will help
identify the key points that need to be confirmed before production.
